Just to make you nervous, guys. Daniela might be forced to miss the Olympics because the Slovakian Olympic association required outcomes of two anti-doping controls from every Slovak athlete who passed the other criteria. One from earlier this year, which Daniela sent them, and one from later, which she apparently haven't send by now, probably due to some sort of misunderstanding. She might get an exception from the rule, but when the Association gave an exception to another Slovak athlete who also didn't sent them the outcomes of the tests 4 years ago, he was tested positive then during the Games. So they are understandably very hesitant now. Nomination of Slovakian athletes is already closed and Daniela isn't in it. Unpleasant cause. We can only hope that Slovakian tennis association is influential enough, which it better be, because I can't imagine the havoc it would cause if Daniela really couldn't play. She is no biker or weightlifter anyway.

I can't believe that Daniela could miss the Olympics because of an oversight or misunderstanding that could be resolved very easily. Daniela's one of the the famous and successful Slovakian athletes and this would cause so many long-term problems for her, for the Fed Cup and the Slovakian tennis association. Hopefully they'll lobby for her and the Slovak Olympic association will be flexible and pragmatic about this and let her go the games rather than being dogmatic.
