well she has a week almost to do some serious soul-searching. Too bad she couldn't take advantage of the relatively weak draw at Stanford. Next week in LA will be a lot tougher.

oh dear, i was not so surprised she lost but the way she played it was quite disappointing....so does this mean she will go down in the rankings next week?

Its incredible how far players can slip when most of them have been striking the ball since elementary school. A couple months off and it’s as if they are learning the difference between an eastern and western grip.
