I just find it so hard to care about this tournament

It's what no Daniela in singles does and I feel so pissed off about that plus a few other things.

Geez, I feel bad for you guys. Almost feeling guilty about last week. (Only almost.) I will tap into your moods by noting that Vika also withdrew too late for Daniela, giving a bad back (translation: Waaaaah, I lost to Sam!) as the reason.

Let's Go, Daniela!

Daniela's doubles match is 4th on Grandstand, not before 4pm.

Toronto has an exhibition match on Monday evenings but I'd say that this match merits being on Centre Court more than any exhibtion, especially as it's a competitive match.
Martina Navratilova's first round doubles match was on Centre Court in 2005 and I'd have thought that Hingis's comeback, Daniela, Kvitova & Kerber would have merited a Centre Court match, especially as the other players in Navratilova's match were Groenefeld, Vinci & Voskoboeva.

To whom it may concern...Daniela & Martina are the 4th match set for the grandstand court, with the first match scheduled for 11:00 EDT. Rough guess would be around 5:00 PM EDT. I'll be rooting them on from afar!

It's a bit annoying that the Fichman - Dubois match is lasting so long, not only does it delay Daniela but it gives Kerber more time to recover from her singles match.

Edit: Fichman just won so Daniela will be on soon enough.

That was an awesome display from Daniela and Martina (although Martina's serve is terrible). Daniela did some amazing winners and touch shots. I loved her screaming backhand winner down the middle in the second set, was so fast! That point was 1-0 30-30 (Daniela serving)

A very good win by Daniela & Martina. Daniela played really well and made some great shots and her serving was the springboard for the team's success. Martina was amazing when the ball was in play and made some incredible shots but her serve was vulnerable. If she could improve her serve then this would be an incredible team.

Looks like another long day's journey into night, guys. 5 matches are set for the grandstand tomorrow. One guess who's match is 5th and last. Correct! It will be worth it if Daniela & Martina slaughter a Georges-led team like last week. Rooting and hoping!

Let's Go, Daniela!
