Also the probable 8 seeds going into the US Open that Daniela would face if she doesn't get her ranking up to the top 24 will be:

1 Serena
2 Wozniacki
3 Jankovic
4 Venus
5 Clijsters
6 Stosur
7 Schiavone
8 Dementieva

And you can just bank on Daniela getting a Williams sister or Clijsters R3 draw from that lot.

So far with the exception of San Diego, since Roland Garros it's been pretty depressing...but we'll stick by Daniela come what may and just pray that for once she can have a slightly easier draw sometime, I mean is that too much to ask? Or are there just too many better players out there these days?

The thing is, watching some of the matches this week in Cincy, Daniela really is not that far away from the top 20 standard wise. She needs a better serve, I really think that's all it is...

Williams it will be again :/

Like always...

We just need to believe Daniela will get a decent draw someday.... But its starting to be really ridiculous because it looks like its never gonna happen.

No. 15 seed Flavia Pennetta drew former No. 5 Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia; Hantuchova was on the practice courts seemingly all day yesterday, preparing for that one.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Ugh she drew Pennetta, I just hope she can gained points to boost her ranking up cause she has the game, but its very difficult with her ranking to have a good draw :( not only for Daniela..Wish she improved that second serve(aus.open semi final) and as always her mental strength need to be hard as stone, and hope she add more power to her game like all the top 10 players outhere..except for Schiavone

Sharapova out!

Pity that Daniela is not in Safarovas place... Safarova was to play Sharapova in 1R... By whom Sharapova will be replaced in draw?

Yeh... much better draw it would be! Safarova is lucky :/

Like I said, there are streams since 1R... so theres a chance to see Danielas match, but it must be on center, I guess :/

Daniela currently ranked 26th after the points taken off of this time last year...

I think with Henin injured and Martinez injured that would put Daniela as no.24 seed for US Open.

Therefore this 1st round match against Pennetta is SO CRUCIAL! Daniela please win!

Seeding will be based on the ranking after Montreal.

I know that Wozniacki had a double fault in her last service game, but with the first to ad scoring system in doubles, then one point makes a lot more difference and Daniela & Caroline could have won the first set already if a couple of points had been different.

Yaah, Daniela & Caroline break to deuce, 5-3.

First set 6-3, way hey.

2nd set

0-1

1-1, held to deuce.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.
