I'm testing a new chat at the moment, hopefully you like it!
Go to and if you're asked to log in, log in with your forum name and password.

There are several different chat rooms, one is "Public (Shoutbox)". Everything you post in "Public (Shoutbox)" will be visible on the main page.
The other rooms are all private of course.
You can also change your standard text colour, which influences your text colour in the shoutbox as well.

All members who are in the chat are displayed under the main menu on the left.
If you see someone there, why not pop in for a nice conversation? ^^
If there's nobody, log in and wait for somebody

Have fun testing it, and don't forget to write if you like it or not.

but the chat has still some problems..
I'm nt able to seperate it completely from the shoutbox, which means that guests can still visit the chat (but not write).
If I disable it for guests they can't see the shoutbox

Als it would be better if the content of the shoutbox is not accessible in the chat, because you can see who was there before you.

But I'll have a look at it in the next days

And hopefully some members will vitit the chat then.

PS: Is "Members in Chat: blabla" good english, or is there a better phrase?

oh, and I forgot to mention that you can always delete your own posts in both the shoutbox and the chat!
