What a great come back today!!! That is what I wanna see from Daniela, never give up, keep on fighting. Very well done today. Some more precious ranking points are added. Hope she can improve more than that for her next match.

Woooohooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! She won :D
Some much needed ranking points at last! Please keep winning Daniela!!! 3 wins a row would be excellent!!!

As much as the draw has opened up, I really feel Razzano is a tough match for Daniela. Even though Daniela leads their head to head, their last match in 07 was won by Razzano quite convincingly.

Anyway, nice scrappy win today!! Tight first set, but in total control in the second! Great fighting qualities again! Here's hoping she has an ON day tomorrow and gets off to a better start!

Great job Danka! You may not be 100% tennis-wise yet but it's so good to see you fighting through your matches again. I believe you can beat Razzano with your present game-best of luck!

Well she is through to the third round which, considering the fact that she is unseeded, is a good effort, albeit she has had a good draw. Razzano will more than likely be a tougher match than today's, but I would put Daniela as the favourite even though Razzano beat Safina earlier today.

It's a match that Daniela should win on paper tomorrow, but i'm not sure what Razzano's form is like. As in, i'm not sure if her win over Safina was because of solid play or Safina going off the boil. In any case it's a match Daniela has a major chance to win. Let's just hope she produces some good play and doesn't self implode :P

Razzano was in great form towards the end of 2007, beating Venus Williams in the final of Tokyo, but since then shes gone off the boil. The win over Safina is because of a 'bad day' from the world number 2. I don't think Razzano will bring much to the court tomorrow, and if Daniela is consistent she should win. I'm still expecting a tougher match than today though.

She'll probably be confident though. Because you know, a win is a win. I'm also expecting Daniela to win in any case :D

Interesting service stats today. 74% first serves in(liking that!)and 64 % points won behind the second serve and yet she got broken 3 times. I can only assume that Daniela had too much afternoon tea and therefore had a very sluggish start!

Tomorrow's match won't be easy. I watched the match of Razzano today and I must say she played really well, smart play and aggressive all the time (although Safina did make a lot of UEs but we all know Daniela would also do that). If Daniela doesn't play well, I am pretty sure she will be in big trouble.

I'm so happy that Daniela won the match today. After reading your posts, I'm quite sure that Daniela would have lost the match when losing the first set. But so it was a great fight and a comfortable 2nd set.

Now a good chance against Razzano. Hope she can improve and make it to the QF. Would be so important when looking at the ranking.
