big congrats to Hantuyama. Great start of the year for the re-united team. Reached the first GS final and beating Black and Huber twice in two encounters.

FANTASTIC WIN!!!!!!!

I watched the whole match-they didn't play spectacular but were very focussed and got the job done.

I guess next up will be the Williams sisters....we'll have to see.

wohoo!! that was good solid play from daniela and ai.

daniela was playing really solid tennis; a bit sluggish to get to balls, but was striking nicely, volleying nicely and serving nicely. she was confident and positive as well. i really do hope this translates to her singles play as well.

YAY to making the final, and i'm 99.99% sure this will be televised!

This is absolutely fantastic, Daniela & Ai dominated the match and thoroughly deserved the win. They made a good decision to reunite and they're in their second slam final and Daniela's second Australian Open doubles final. Lets go all the way this time, COME ON!!

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

I missed the match to go to a Celtics game. They won and it's great to come home and see that Ai and Daniela did, too! Serena Williams defeated Dementieva in singles ( :( ), so here's hoping they withdraw from the doubles. Not sure that's likely, but it's certainly possible.

Sheesh, I didn't know our doubles team was playing tonight, so I also missed the match, but we get to watch the finals so I'd love to see them take home the trophy!

Well done, Dani and Ai !

Now, it will be very, very difficult against the Williams sisters. They are winning so easily their semifinal (6-0 in the first set).

Fan de Daniela en toutes circonstances.

The Williams sisters beat Dellacqua and Schiavone 6-0 6-2, so clearly they are playing very well. Surprisingly Daniela and Ai have only lost 3 more games in total over the course of the tournament (32 games as opposed to 29 for the Williams sisters), predominantly due to their comfortable wins at the beginning of the tournament.
Should be a good final; and hopefully a competitive one!
