Daniela isnt a threat now when Alize is serving... 0-2... oh danm, this is so discouraing
She looks like she doesn't have a clue how to play and is trying to rush the net at the worst of times.
Safarova just lost and Daniela will follow her shortly.

Well, she's playing really good, making almost zero UEs. On the other hand danka is missing A LOT, poor serve and obviously frustrated. Now 2 breaks down. Its basically over... Im sad

Where did danka go? medical time out? :?

this is so frustrating. It was her match, but when she controlled the point, UE, either long or in net. Why is she throwing it away.

Cornet's first serves in the 2nd set were violent. 44%. She won 80% of those points.

Daniela is not stifling this.

Daniela is off the court. :?:

daniela took a medical (or psychological?) timeout. A break might lead her back on her way.

And I have to go to school now, good luck danka and goodbye everyone.

Yeah, I hate when players do that... Cornet must be pissed
Danka shouldve taken the time out when she was broken the first time, not now. Dont think it will help

To me, this is more about Cornet making almost no mistakes. Daniela could play better, but she really has played no worse than she did in the last two rounds. It's just a steep step up in competition.

I hope Daniela is OK. :(

By the way, Cornet took a suspicious medical timeout during their New Haven match.

It's a Slam, players will do almost anything to win.

Probably not, but I've seen stranger things happened.

True, but danka is doing a good attack, and again, when in need for the winner (many times in an easy position) she misses badly. But Cornet of course is playing without errors
