The european stages of the world cup qualifiers began last night. The European Championships is all forgotten (well for England that was easy) and were now on the Road to South Africa in 2010. This thread is for discussion of all the world cup qualifiers from all the continents so feel free to have your say on your nation and how they are getting on in their quest to be one of the 32 sides in the World Cup Finals

Group A:
GUA-USA (0-1)
CUB-TRI (1-3)

Group B:
MEX-HON (2-1)
CAN-JAM (1-1)

Group C:
CRC-SLV (1-0)
HAI-SUR (2-2) Goals in 90th and 95th minute for Haiti.

No surprises there, save for maybe Jamaica playing Canada even on the road. Group B is so much stronger than group C, it's ridiculous.

Naturally i dont really follow the central america qualifiers for the World Cup, but even I can see that Group B is stupidly stronger than C

If Domenech is still in a job after losing to Austria, then he must have some serious dirt on the French Federation. BTW, did his girlfriend take him up on the marriage proposal he made?

he's a loser first class, he select his team based on their horoscopes
leaving the best french attacker out of the teams who scores every year 15-20 goals in the Serie A

Big suprise Belgium won a match

What did he say? "The other lot are still coached by Domenech, we've got a great chance."

Daniela could have a long season as a Roma fan given how bad Mexes was.

I do like it when other big nations do poorly, makes me feel better as an England fan that teams that have actually won things in recent memory are just as bad as we are
