Thanks for the article Chungwit, but according to tennisforum (and Venus' twitter account) Venus has ended her season. I think the article writer has just looked and the race to Sofia and doesn't look at the forums like we do!

That means it's all down to Kanepi as Daniela is first alternate if Kanepi decides to play...

There's still a chance that Daniela could get in as Kanepi's injured and Venus Williams probably won't play but Daniela's left relying on withdrawals to get in to Sofia. It would be great for her to get in and have to chance to finish the year on a high, get into the top 30 and she could do with the points as she has so many points to defend at the start of next year.
It suck's that right now Daniela's on the outside looking in. There have been so many matches this year that if she'd won, then she'd have been in the top 30 and qualified for Sofia. It is a mockery that Hsieh's ranked 25 from playing ITFs and only beating 2 top 50 players this year and Pironkova wouldn't be there if this was in any other country. We'll see what happens.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

DANIELA will play Sofia!!!!!

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out official Sofia website. They've officially announced it!!! Venus and Kanepi withdrew.

So happy for Daniela and of course for us fans!!! A good showing here may just take the pressure off the beginning of 2013.

Is it indoor hard court?

DANIELA will play Sofia!!!!! Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's In!! You win, Eddy. So cool! Off of last week, I wasn't ready to have Dani have to call it a year. Here's a chance not only for her to go into 2013 with extra points, but with a lot of hope and confidence. And, maybe a chance to get some revenge on her good friend Caro!

Let's Go, Daniela!

It's nice that Daniela was able to get into Sofia and it gives her the chance to have a great finish to the year, get some points and push into the top 30. She's beaten most of the players there this year and has beaten them all in the last two years so she can do well here.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Anyone know when the draw comes out?

Also looked up pictures of the stadium Arena Armeec, (although not sure about the red and green coloured courts) but it's huge and will be an awesome week I think, especially if it's well attended.
