yeah, Daniela really needs to win this, and she definately can!
Tsonga and Gabashvili have just finished, so her match should start soon...

Has anyone got a working livestream? The ones from the Tsonga match haven't been loading for me or they constantly buffered.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Her match is tonight? Too bad the live streams require a paid subscription, I'll just follow the live scores for now.

I watched his match here:
but it says "The event will be starting shortly" and I doubt Daniela's match will appear. They used to broadcast men's tennis only so far

ES player is starting its live coverage tomorrow. Until then I guess there is no way how to watch women.
for a seed I would say just one win is important since it is a difference between 5 points or 80 points. Had she played round 1, I would agree since it would only be between 50 and 80.I am aware of that, I mean that 75 points isn't a sufficient difference to make me so nervous  , even though Daniela needs every single point now.

...and since my nerves hate following the scoreboard, I am off for a while.

Well, I got the live scores working but it's not as good as seeing Daniela's beautiful face on court.

Jie Zheng, who is also Daniela's quarter, got pounded by Vera Dushevina 6-2, 6-2. To get back to my point about why this player is very overrated, she falls victim to my two signs of overranked players:

1) A player who demonstrates huge improvement at an age 24 or above. This rule is generally true in all sports, athletes who have a career year during a year past traditional peak years usually regress thereafter. Of course, a player's prime in women's tennis falls earlier than it does in other sports.

2) A player who has a very high percentage of their points accumulated during Grand Slams. The tour simply puts too much emphasis on the Grand Slams in the rankings. Often times, the only difference between the Grand Slams and the tier ones that have strong fields is the additional matches you have to win at the beginning. For seeded players, these are often routine matches.

Elsewhere, Daniela is up an early break. :)

One of these days, I'm going to subscribe to TennisTV.com so I don't miss future matches.

Right now, it's 2-1, Wickmayer broke back and serving.

Now that you mention it, I clicked on that link you posted for live streaming and I could only hear a bunch of advertisements. I was hearing some kind of horror movie in the background instead of tennis...
