2nd set 0-1. daniela broken to 15. kvitova deals better with the windy conditions. but that's not all. kvitova just too good in her shots. 0-2. daniela saves to GPs from kvitova, but she holds... 1-2. 1st game for daniela  30-15, 40-15, df 40-30 but game daniela. and she has to smile  great reaction1-3. kvitova holds to 0 2-3. daniela saves 2 BPs and holds! 3-3. kvitova broken to 15 some errors kvitova and a great return from daniela4-3. 0-30, 30-30, 40-30 and game daniela! this was important 4-4. kvitova holds to 15 4-5. daniela broken to 15. don't know why daniela didn't try to hit the ball more aggressive... 4-6. kvitova holds to 30. daniela get's a little bit better, but kvitova just too strong and too agressive in her shots, totally deserved win hope daniela will classify this loss right... but i'm sure she will.

Im just hoping that she doesnt get double bagled  She has to dictate more ...never saw daniela hit a point that she was dictated.

2nd set was really good Daniela, just remember that! Don't let this match discourage you! She was 0-6 0-2 down and got it to 4-3 up which I don't think many players would have been able to do, but Petra got it back again. Daniela held her head high throughout the match which shows how amazing she is. So impressed with her attitude. On to Melbourne - at least she can't face Kvitova until at least 4th round but of course she has to get there... |

Didn't watch the match-had a feeling something like this would happen. If you were going to design a player to be the ultimate horror match up for Daniela,it would look a lot like Petra.

Sounds like Petra was just too good today, and sometimes you've just got to hold your hand up and accept it. As Eddy said, we should be happy that Daniela has made it to the quarters, I know I am Scott |
