Daniela can beat any of the seeds on a good day; in fact she can beat anyone in the field on a good day. Obviously Vinci would be a nice opener. Bartoli has finished the year very strongly, and beat Azarenka convincingly in Istanbul. Lisicki is always tricky for Daniela, and Peng has been consistent all year and can cause Daniela problems. The outcome of this tournament for all of the players concerned very much depends on the draw. Daniela and Ana are both dangerous floaters for the four seeds.

The four highest ranked tournament winners are seeded, the two lowest ranked tournaments winners and wildcards are unseeded.

Name your rival in the first quarter finals round of a tournament majsteriek recognize Tuesday. In Bali you pit your skills with one of the four Anabel Medina Garrigues-(Sp), Nadia Petrova (RUS), Šuaj Peng (China) Ana Ivanovic (SRB).

Hantuchova balance with potential rival:
Anabel Medina Garrigues, (Spa) 3-1
Nadia Petrova (RUS) 3:4
Šuaj Peng (China) 1-0
Ana Ivanovic (SRB) 2:4

"Absolutely not looking at it that I finally draw lots. All are quality players, so it's a. There is however a very fast surface. I chose would therefore range from the rival which neservuje so well," Hantuchova said, referring to its potential rival.

Therefore, Daniela is seeded which comes as a bit of a pleasant surprise.

Well that's pretty good being seeded :) but she can still draw Ana in 1st round though, I don't mind who she plays as long as it's not Ana,

The whole Nigel Sears link would just be too weird...25% chance they'll meet in 1st round

This turned out to be incorrect,as Daniela ended up drawing Lisicki-the biggest server in the entire field.

Urgh. So they decided to base the seeding totally on ranking. That sucks for daniela. I can't see her beating lisicki on this extremely fast indoor surface. We gotta hope lisicki serves badly.

lisicki isn't in good form since her illness. but daniela needs a very good day to beat her! Good luck!!!

OK, we remember the Birmingham final. We know the directions both players have been headed post-Wimbledon. It couldn't be more obvious that this is a Daniela Dilemma, that she's being led to the slaughter. Here's what most don't know...If you remember the TV show Candid Camera, at the end the host would say: "Don't be surprised if sometime, someplace, somewhere when you least expect it..." This is the unofficial title of the comprehensive synopsis of Daniela's career! So, no expectations of anything positive? It is Dani that we're talking about! Rally in Bali, Dani!

Bah, all the Slovak papers were getting my hopes up by saying Daniela would be seeded. Lisicki's going to be a tough opponent with her serve and power and Daniela's far from fully fit. Still, Lisicki's been ill lately, she hasn't played much since the US Open and she lost her last match to Brianti. Daniela came to Bali in similar circumstances last year and came through the first round so hopefully the change of scene can give her some inspiration.

I sign this! :)

Lisicki will be a tricky opener. She suffered from food poisoning a month ago, but I don't think it will still have a big effect on her game. Lisicki is going to give Daniela a good fight, that's for sure. Go Daniela! :)

Lisicki on Facebook:hi everybody :) i've had a pretty good day today. We had the draw ceremony where a local designer dressed us up for. Its great to have a chance to see & wear traditional dresses! Will post pictures as soon as I've got some!

Puzzling comment from Sabine. The two matches between her and Dani have pretty much been blow-outs,with each player winning once.

Must play some great practise sets! :dunno:

Daniela Hantuchova
On Lisicki...
"Of course I'm going to go into the match hoping I'm gonna win, that's how I approach every single match. She's got a huge game - last time we played it was Birmingham, in the finals, and she killed me. But I feel I've been hitting the ball pretty well here. I think the court suits her game more than mine, but I'm going to try to be aggressive myself from the first point and we'll see."

On her season...
"It has been okay. At the beginning of the year I was fighting an injury, which wasn't good. I won another title in Pattaya, which was a really nice start to some good results, but I think the middle part was the best, starting with Roland Garros, where I beat the No.1 in the world in straight sets. I had a great grass court season as well, the finals of Birmingham and semis of Eastbourne. The summer could have been better... but overall I think it was okay."

On this tournament moving away from Bali next year...
"Everyone's going to be really sad. Anyone who has ever been here enjoys coming back. It's such a wonderful place to play a tournament, so relaxing with no distractions. It helps you play better because you're enjoying every minute."
