Can see Li pushing through now just because Daniela's serving is so bad.

1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5, 2-6 FFS, 3-6, 4-6, 5-6, 6-6!, 6-7:(, 7-7!, 8-7!!!!!!, 9-7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daniela's been awful in tiebreaks this year..EDIT Daniela's won the 1st set from 2-6 down in tiebreak

Well well well, saved 5 set points in the tie-break and has managed to take it. After an hour and 20 minutes, six breaks of serve between them and a total of 6 set points saved, Daniela is 1 set to the good.

This is an awfully long break since the tiebreak so I'm guessing there might have been a medical time out.

Awesome job by Daniela, showing some serious mental strength these days. Wish my the scoreboard would work better for me at my job. Thanks eddy for the updates. Yesterday I had jury duty and had to follow scoreboard there and I was stuck on a plane when she demolished Wozniacki. I can't seem to catch a break with Dani's matches these days.

Could have done without Daniela's first service game going to deuce because if she'd won it to 15 then it would have given her so much momentum for the match. But Li fought back and it gave her a foothold back in the match.

i think daniela will lose in 3, but i dont mind...i hope she will be fit for wimbledon, because her service is awful these days...

3-1 Li. There have been a lot of breaks so far in the match but it's crucial that Daniela holds here because it'll be tough to come back from a double break. Plus, it'd be a lot better for her to win this in two sets.

I'd rather she loses and comes back healthy for Wimbledon. If she gets through, another battle against Venus won't do her shoulder good. You can clearly see she is struggling.

Winning that set on fight alone makes it a great effort.

I agree I wouldn't be upset if she retired from the match. More important to get fit for Wimbledon, much more points up for grabs even if she makes it to rd 3 or 4!
