Jankovic on her way to an all-Serb semi - leads Carla Suarez Navarro 6-3 3-1*.
Jankovic goes through, finishes the match 6-3 6-2.
I hope out of the two its Ivanovic that gets to the final.
I think it'll be Ivanovic[2] v Safina[13] in the women's final and Ferrer[5] v Nadal[2] in the men's final.

What that means then is that we will have a new world number 1 at the end of this week. Its still between Jankovic, Ivanovic and Kuznetsova as to who finishes number 1, but what is for sure is that Sharapova will not

I hope my dream comes true and Rafa can catch the title again. At the moment, and especially after the last two matches, I don't see anybody to stop him.

Djokovic had a really tough match today against Gulbis. I think against Rafa it will also be hard for Novak thinking about his fitness.

on topic: hopefully Nadal on mens side and either Kuznetsova or Jankovic on womens side win.

And not Ivanovic either. I know Daniela says that she and Ana are good friends, but I just can't cheer for Ana. I prefer watching Sveta and also Jelena so much more.

Another great comeback from Safina today - a set and 5-2 (double-break) down, but came back winning the final set 6-0. Kuznetsova is through aswell, fairly comfortably, meaning it will be a Russian v Serb women's final.
In the men's quarter-finals, Monfils leads Ferrer 6-3 *0-0, while Federer leads Gonzalez 2-6 6-2 6-3 *3-2.

Federer and Monfils both comes through in 4 sets. A great win for the Frenchman over the no.5 seed. Can Monfils upset Federer???

i think nadal will prevail over djokovic
also monfils with confidence in the sky and the partizan crowd behind him has big
chances to be a finalist.i just hope to see two high quality with drama semis
surely nadal is the absolute favourite to win

I think that the partizan crowd will only get Monfils so far. He was looking fatigued during the final set of his match with Ferrer and if it wasnt for Ferrer's wayward ground strokes I think he would of got himself back into it.

With seen the two times that Federer has lost sets this championships he had punished his opponents by taking the next 3 sets comfortably and I expect that same in the semi final. Monfils to take the first set, running on adrenaline, and Federer to win comfortably in 4

As for Nadal vs Djokovic will be an interesting match up, I think Nadal will win its just a question of wether Nadal can actually be tested which so far this tournament he hasnt.

Safina through to the womens final is something I cant say im overly surprised about after seeing her matches against Sharapova and Dementieva. I still think a serb will win the title, but Safina deserves her final place

Racionaly I will have to congratulate Safina on making through to the final, she played great tennis, and she must feel she is unbreakable considering her last performances, a though job for any of thr serbians.
On the other hand I feel dissapointed for Svetlana, she is my number 2 player and it was about time she got rewarded.

Oh well, I hope Safina win RG this year..

Yet, if Safina win RG, I think Daniela will also need to catch up with Safina..
Just hoping that Daniela will be back on the top 10 soon..

hmmm don't know about Sveta,she's my favourite after Dani but i think it's psychological with her...she only won 1 title last year after being in the final in 4 or 5 other tournaments. I don't think she handles the big occasions well.
