I wouldn't worry too much about Daniela's withdrawal from the doubles. If memory serves she forfeited her doubles match in the 2008 AO due to some sort of "injury". Evidently it was so that she was fresh for her singles. If anything, it's good to see her making the sensible decision.

I'm so thrilled about Daniela's performances! She's got a massive chance of a quarter final showing. Granted, a grand slam is a different set of circumstances but Daniela's recent victories (on clay no less) against JJ have to bolster her confidence. I wasn't able to watch the match because i've had end of semester assignments so if someone could upload some highlights it would be greatly greatly appreciated.

On to the 4th round! :D

Im even worry about this year. Her rank wont improve if she exits in 1st round on the remaining GS...

Hope she will play well there, too.

Petrova has just beaten Venus :)

There is a difference between these centres in speed?

Yes, it is.

These courts are very different. Many players whose game is not suited for clay don´t like playing on Lenglen and they prefer on Chatrier. That´s why Roger is still playing on Chatrier. Daniela is one of them so I don´t think Lenglen is a good choice for her next match.

In that case I wouldnt be surprised if she is on Lenglen...

The scheduling always goes against her.. :/

Not sure if playing in the evening is that great as jankovic likes the cold ie. her win against venus in rome. But at least it's on chatrier. The evening conditions are going to slow up the ball. But I really think that if daniela can successfully attack jankovic's serve she can win this match. It's going to really tough though. Would love daniela to have reached all slam quarter finals in her career this is the one that's missing.

Well let's hope nadal beats bellucci quickly and serena gets part peer in 2. Unfortunately I dear the djok match could go on for ages. I guess they may move daniela's match to 2 different court should the matches and weather delay things.
