I only watched the first set of the Charleston final but Stosur was playing crazy good tennis. I think this really bolsters Daniela's performance yesterday. Stosur is going to be one of the players to watch for this stint of the season, grass courts included. If she (Stosur) plays like she played in this tournament she'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Sure she will play! She loves playing for her country.

But she cant go to Erope so far because of the situation I wrote about before... I dont know when it will be possible for her and Jankovic.

She will surely go to Belehrad... by submarine to Europe maybe :D

I want her to play Fed Cup. But if shes not feeling fit, she should skip. She herself would know it better. Cibulkovas injured and her Fed Cup participation is not sure yet. But Daniela should go...

Im just saying what I heard.

"Obviously, she improved so much in the last few years," said Daniela Hantuchova, who lost to Stosur in the semifinals. "She's very powerful. She almost plays like a man, in a very good way, plays with a lot of spin, and the serve is huge."

"I mean she was serving slice serves 118, which I think you don't see on the men's tour too often, so she's got a great game. She's a very strong girl, and yeah, she works hard for it, so she definitely deserves to be there."

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

I think what's really encouraging is that we're seeing Daniela as a much more clearer thinker now. Her decision making on court is a lot more assured, therefore less prone to mental breakdowns...i think the 2nd set against stosur daniela was very tried you could see her exhale loads after each point. Hopefully this fed cup tie gets postponed so Daniela will be fresh for Stuttgart which is my favourite clay court event apart from Roland Garros. I love indoor clay!

I still think that she needs more zip on her serve, especially during this clay court season, but I've noticed that throughout Charleston her serve percentage was consistently high 65% above sometimes more, so maybe the eradication of 2nd serves is what she's after.

Good luck D! :)
