The goal here is the fourth round; anything further is a huge stretch. At that, the draw is reasonable as Daniela has a workable path to travel to get there.

She has a decent record against Schnyder and they seem to have played each other a million times, although not recently. Daniela will know how to beat her but it is still going to be a tricky match up as their head to head shows that Schnyder knows how to beat Daniela as well. Her record here in Miami is mediocre at best, so I'm not expecting much here. For me every win is a bonus.

Daniela's got a good record in her recent matches against Schnyder, although the last match was at Linz in 2007, and most of Schnyder's wins came right at the start of Daniela's career and when Daniela was in her slump in 2003 & 2004. Generally, whenever Daniela's been in good form and playing well she's won. Plus, Schnyder doesn't have a particularly great recent record in Miami and her hardcourt results over the past year or so have been fairly modest.
A lot will depend on how Daniela's back is because if she's fit she should win but if she's not, this match will be tough and Daniela doesn't have the best record in Miami. We'll see what happens. Winning this match would be great.
