Daniela loses the first set, 6-4. Without seeing the match, it's hard to believe she played well at all, given the quality of the opposition.

This is not looking good...from what i've seen in the past of petkovic she's a momentum player...so Daniela could lose this in straights. So long as Daniela puts up a good fight...

Petkovic is racing through this service game as well. Daniela's 4-1 down now. Gah.

Seems like Daniela hasn't become any more solid on her serve over the summer, which is disappointing. If she's being eaten alive on her second serve against this type of opponent i shudder to think what would happen against a potential Clijsters in the next round - not trying to suggest she'll make it there as things are looking really bad, but yeah.

Yeah, I she needs to get fired up again, or else... well, the score board speaks for itself: 4-6, 1-4... She is not doing ANY damage while returning, let alone win a point on serve.

The match against Szvay got my hopes up

Solid hold from Daniela; 4-2 now. She's been so shaky on serve, if she doesn't break here i don't like her chances.

I don't like her chances now. She'd had to hold serve twice just to draw level - which i'm not sure she's done consecutively for the whole match. This is very disappointing... her match yesterday against Szavay seemed so encouraging.
