In theory there's a great chance of Daniela reaching the SF at least. However , we all know that Daniela tends to lose to less known players in tournaments like these !

As long as Daniela's fit and motivated she should be able to beat most of the players here easily enough but there are some good players and potentially dangerous floaters in the field. Clijsters will be the favourite and Wozniacki's beaten Daniela fairly easily when they've played but you wonder what effect these Asian tournaments will have on Wozniacki's performance here. Hopefully Daniela can go on a good run and end the year with a bit of momentum.

Daniela will face Tatiana Malek in the first round. Should be a rather easy task.

It's pretty much the best draw she could have hoped for. Razzano withdrawing proved to be quite important as it moved Daniela up to fourth seed.

This is a pretty good draw and Daniela's probably got the best quarter as there aren't really any dangerous floaters there and she's got a great chance of going on a run.

Malek's generally been beaten pretty easily whenever she's played a top player although she beat Suarez Navarro and Pavlyuchenkova in the summer and she nearly beat Stosur at Wimbledon. I'd expect Daniela to beat her comfortably.

The Stosur match was shown on Fox Sports in Australia - Stosur played total rubbish for the majority of that match.

I'm also expecting a comfortable win for Daniela.
