In my humble opinion she's the best player in this draw. Here's to hoping she can play some good tennis.

Rumor has it Daniela has withdrawn from Linz :?:

I hope it's not true, the entry list isn't all that tough and Daniela can make a deep run, given a favourable draw. I kinda expect Radwanska to withdraw if she makes the Beijing final, but even if she doesn't, she's got to be tired, having gone deep in both Tokyo and Beijing.

Draw comes out soon, so I guess we'll know then!

Aw, that sucks. I think Daniela would have played well here considering she tends to play well where she's had past success. What a shame.

I really feel for you. Luckily for me i live in Melbourne so i get to see Daniela every year :D

The entry list turned out to be a nightmare.

3 out of 4 players who announced to play in Linz and I wanted to see withdrew.

First Dulko and Dominika and today with Daniela the last and worst news.

This sucks because the draw was fairly weak and Daniela is more than capable of beating everyone else there. It's a pity for krima but there are still some decent players there so you should see some good matches.

I don't know how badly hurt she is but she did say that she felt tired in Beijing and she complained about the scheduling there. Daniela also had some tough losses in Asia, especially against Petrova, so she probably needed a week off to rest and get over things. I also think that after her injury problems last year she's a lot more careful about her physical condition. Hopefully this is just a precaution and nothing too serious.

Get well soon Daniela.

Very frustrating that Daniela had to withdraw cause this would have been a great opportunity for a title, especially as she has won here before. However there is no point in risking further injury and hope that Daniela get's fit as in back on court soon.

Has anyone heard any further news on Daniela's possible injury? It'd be pretty heart breaking for her to get injured again just as she's finally started building some momentum.

Tournament was great. I was there for two days, wednesday and thursday.

I have quite become a fan of Yanina Wickmayer. She plays really great tennis at the moment. I was also watching Niculescu and Dulgheru. Now I understand, why Daniela lost to Dulgheru in Warsaw. She has a very good game.

Maybe Radwanska played the best tennis, but she said that she is already very tired after the Asian tournaments.
I was just disappointed about the performance of Pennetta. She couldn't show her best unfortunately.

I'm looking forward to next year. Maybe I have luck and Daniela will come next year. But honestly I'm afraid the new WTA calender won't favour the European indoor season.
