A good win for Daniela against a tricky opponent. She had a great run of 7 games in a row to take control of the match and her serve got better in the second set, at least according to the stats. It would have been great if Daniela had got a bagel or served it out for 6-1 but 6-2 is okay.

Petrova's recent form hasn't been great although she does have a good record against Daniela, but most of them were years ago. It is a match that could go either way but it is the sort of match that Daniela has to win to get into the top 20.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.
