I just watch the match of Daniela. She played just good enough to get through. I expected more than that actually but a win is a win and she still has a chance to improve in the next match. Good job today Daniela.

Just caught the replay on Eurosport. First set was all kinds of ropey-stupid errors off both wings,no fizz on the serve at all and enough poor dropshots to induce a coronary. She was lucky Petra had a complete braincramp serving at *3-2. Alls well that ends well as she produced an excellent stretch BH lob to win the set.

Second set was much better-improved movement, controlled the rallies well and was prepared to come into the net to finish off points, where she demonstrated a much improved overhead smash. She also dealt well with the slice BH throughout the match.

Simon Reed can be a complete douche at times. There was one point where Petra got a lucky netcord, and Daniela had to dig out a one-handed BH reply before finishing the point with a lovely FH volley right onto the line. Rather than congratulating Daniela for cool under pressure he criticizes the choice of shot and claims she got lucky. It's enough to make you weep.

I thought her return of serve was alright-she tried to blast the returns at the beginning of the match and they were either going long or into the net. She dialed back the power and,i felt, kept a good length throughout the match.

On an unrelated note,Petra really didn't think through her trainers/dress combination!

I fell asleep a couple of times watching the scoreboard , but i was pleased that i woke up and saw an 7-5 7-5 .
It wasn't the most perfect Dani's game but I prefer her winning rather than player terrific and losing because of her confidence .
She need to win matches doesn't matter if it's 6-0 6-0 or a 6-7 7-6 7-6 , she just needs to win to boost her confidence and raise her game .
Against Bammer it will be a though match but hopefully she'll make the best of it . I was impressed with Bammer's results , especially the 6-1 6-3 against Duchevina .
Anyway , Good Luck Danka :)

Good to see that Daniela won the match. Very important for her to get some good wins in a row.

Now against Bammer will be tough. But Bammer has also had a tough time lately. Seems like she is in good form at the moment.

Just got an e-mail form Eurosport:
Hello,

The Eurosport player is normally not compatible with the Mac environment but it works for some users with Firefox and Flip4mac.
We are working on a new version that should be working on Safari.

Please check the test video available here:

If you are not able to watch it, please do not subscribe.

Kind Regards,

Eurosport Player

Wankers.

Is there anyone that's going to watch who could be able to stream it on justin.tv or ustream.com? Thanks.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

eurosport has only shown a repetition of the match of her against cetkovska today. I'm pretty sure that we can get no live stream for her
match against bammer :x

Daniela seems to be doing no damage when Bammer is serving 1-3
