Well, there's your silver lining.

Nearly 40 errors. Even considering that Radwanska is a top-flite retriever who will force more errors than just about any player on tour, that's inexcusable. That's almost one unforced error for every three points played!

I have to vent here. This has been a long-time coming and, even though this probably wasn't Daniela at her worst, it's still deserved:

Well, it's not a shocking outcome. Quite as I expected. Daniela had a BP to lead 4-1 in the 1st set, but didn't convert due to an unlucky netcord. In the following game Radwanska was lucky with the netcord twice. After that Daniela lost a lot of patience, started to bash the ball and made many errors. After the set Portas told her that she was going for too much and that she should play 7-8 shots rallies, use angles, hit body and down the T serves and be patient. Daniela tried, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. Impatience cost her the match. She should work on overhead smashes as well, she missed 2/2 or 3/3 at least. 34 unforced errors (maybe more?) to 24 winners.
