how is this furious thing? is she giving dirty looks or something? Well, she won the las game confortably... hope she finds momentum

no just complaining and waving with her armes , im sure it's to her box
most of them do that when they are desperate

Sorana deserves to win, she is clearly the better player. Daniela is just way to weak mentally and makes too much UEs. But that is nothing new, got the chance, didn't take it and completely melt down. What a disappointed year for Daniela. Welcome back to top 30. And with the way she is playing, if she doesn't improve, top 40 or 50 is calling. Every player now knows how to play Daniela, just try to get the ball back as much as possible and Daniela will give away the points. :roll:

stopped to play after 5-3 and umpire's decision.
cant cut this fucking bad habbit.

krima i am pretty sure for a rocking next season.
one of the few times that i am really dissapointed with daniela.
for her behaviour in umpire's calls not for the result
daniela has big problem on this.stucks her mind in minor things

Some statistics : Dani had 38 winners and 38 UEs while Sorana had 37 + 26. Sorana also had 8 aces.
At 5-2 at the first set, Sorana seemed to me a little bit "heavy" and looking at her bandaged leg i thought
" perhaps she is not 100% ready for this match due to some injury ". Well, i was completely mistaken,
it seems that Sorana needed some time to find her rhythm. As for the "furious" thing, i have the impression
that Dani was defending herself to her coach, he must have told her something about the way
she played at the end of the 1st and she probably answered. Anyway, i had the match recorded
so i will take another look later. Generally speaking, i feel kind of relieved that this season ended.
I hope she works hard during off-season and get back stronger.

This sucks. You've got to give Cirstea credit, she played well and hit some good winners but I do feel this was a match that Daniela lost as she was playing the better tennis in the first set but when the umpire overruled the ace at 5-3, Daniela unravelled badly. The umpire also overruled a winner by Daniela at either 0-1 or 1-2 in the second set and while Daniela won the game, it hurt her concentration as she was focusing on the umpire and perceived injustices rather than concentrating on the next point. When someone's confident and in form, they're able to brush aside distractions like that or use it as extra motivation, but when someone's short of confidence or out of form, then they'll feel that the world's against them and it's another obstacle in their path. It would have been great if Luxembourg had hawkeye, but Daniela should have dealt with the situation better.

A big concern was the way she was gesticulating after the first set and that's something that she hasn't done for years and I really hope there aren't any problems in her camp. You want her to be able to train well and prepare for the new season free of distractions and hopefully this was just a one-off. Panichi was in Basel with Bolleli so I don't know how much his absence affected Daniela

Daniela just needs a break and to have a nice holiday so she can comeback rested and refreshed for next year.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

@danielitsa: I understand you don't wanna to hear that but for me that is the truth which cannot be denied. How can you answer why her opponent can fight back from being 2-5 down but she can't. If we talk about the talent, Daniela is better, so the only answer is...
