Why does Srebotnik have to qualify she is ranked 21 and ilona bondarenko is last entry into the main draw ranked 31??

Final round of qualifying

Srebotnik[1] v Llagostera Vives
Schaivone[2] v Koryttseva[7]
Errani[3] v Voskoboeva
Lapushchenkova v Rezai

Of the potential qualifiers in the final round there are big threats to Daniela and also players that she should be able to defeat fairly easily.
Srebotnik, Schiavone and even Errani are tough match-ups, and Rezai could also cause trouble. All the others should be good opponants for Daniela so lets hope she gets a good draw in the first round.

Hmm.. we should never underestimated qualifier player no matter who she is..
Just hope that Daniela play her best when she against the qualifier.. Daniela always unpredictable..

Its not a bad draw, and for someone thats currently only really looking at the first round and its a qualifier is saying alot. There are a few tough draws that Daniela could get. Srebotnik despite being in qualies is still ranked 21 in the world, Schiavone beat Daniela the other week and Errani pushed her at Wimbledon so they could be tough, there are also easier matches but with an entry list such as this you cannot vouch on her getting an straight forward first round win. After that Zvonareva again which would suck considering what went on last week but never the less, she has to win one match first before she gets to meet her again

Qualifiers

Srebotnik[1] (d. Llagostera Vives 6-2 6-2)
Schiavone[2] (d. Koryttseva[7] 6-0 6-1)
Errani[3] (d. Voskoboeva 6-3 6-3)
Lapushchenkova (d. Rezai 3-6 7-5 7-5)

It will be just Daniela's luck to end up with Schiavone, who looks to be in good form having thrashed Koryttseva in the final round of qualifying.

Well, her bad luck but not worst. It would be too bad if she has to face Kata.

Daniela lost to Franzi but I think she plays at least better now, so maybe she has a chance here. Actually, Franzi is a good test for Daniela right now to see if she has improved since their last meeting or not. If Daniela can stay strong mentally and plays well, she definitely has a chance to win.

Daniela has got to be one of the most unlucky tennis players out there! A 25% chance of getting Schiavone (who I consider to be the best player of the four qualifiers) and that's who she ends up with in the opening round.

just found out on youtube. It was a bit of the match between Daniela and Franzi in Tokyo. Daniela can hardly hit the ball three times without making an UE :roll:

. I think that was the match where she killed herself more than Franzi overplayed her.
