hmm, I think Jankovic found her fourm at the US Open. I thought she would lose in the fourth round there, but there she started playing great and she was very much at her best in the QF and SF. A little bit nervous in the final, but still was a worthy opponent. True she lost last week to Kuznetsova, but what a battle that was.

Daniela made some great returns yesterday against Tanasugarn. Hit some great down the line winners and cross-court winners. So I think she has already been practicing them.

This is only the 3rd time this year, Danka will face a top10 player. She lost to Ivanovic @ Aus Open and Sharapova @ Indian Wells. It is also only the 3rd time Danka will meet a player ranked above her.

the night match tomorrow will be shown on eurosport. IMO there is a big chance that it is Jankovic Vs Hantuchova. It's the only match between 2 seeds and Jankovic is the number 1 seed. It could also be Ivanovic vs. Zheng, since Ivanovic was the late match tonight and she needs have a decent time of rest.

I watched a bit of JJ's match yesterday. JJ can play better than that if she is at her peak. So I see Daniela still has a chance if she plays well tomorrow. Of course every match is different, so we still have to wait and see how they play.

09.45 to 11, but not live though. I just heard the Danish commentator say it and assume it would be live.

I think its a 70-30 situation here.
Dani is not at top form but neither Jelena is, and that gives Dani a chance...
Of course she has to play better than yesterday.
By the way Christina, were the UE correct ???
Were they 26 for Dani and only 8 for Tamarine ???

euhm ... US Open final ?

still more then a first round defeat

i think it's 80-20 tomorrow cause of Daniela's form , but she still have her chances
if Jelena have a offday and Daniela can keep the errors low and finally start serving well

Fan of Daniela Hantuchova since the Australian Open 2002 Other players: Azarenka,Wozniacki,Henin,Safarova,Benesova

I meant after the US OPEN.
She lost to Kuznetsova at Tokyo (qf) and she didnt
show something special against Wozniak in the 2nd round.
On the other hand, perhaps she didnt had to push herself....
Of course, right now she is superior to Dani.
70-30 or 80-20, it doesnt matter.
Dani has to get the first set, otherwise i dont think
that she could return in that game.
