a needed win IMO. Both for Danka and also for Szavay who has been struggling a bit this year and will fall out of top20 on Monday.

3 doubles quarter-finals will be played on Thursday, and 1 will be played on Friday, so it could be either day. Will have to wait and see the order of play for tomorrow.

Not really a good draw in doubles. But in doubles you can never know, maybe a surprise.

Would be a great result for Daniela to win another doubles match and of course that would be good for her confidence.

Hantuchova and Szavay did lead by a break against Raymond and Stosur, 2-0, but the doubles specialists have broken back, now 2-2. At least its competitive at the start - good signs. I wondered whether they were going to get outplayed.

Hantuchova and Szavay save two break points to level the first set, 4-4.
Raymond and Stosur hold serve in the next game so its now down to Hantuchova and Szavay to serve to stay in the opening set.

edit: They have held serve, and broken Raymond and Stosur once again to lead *6-5.
