Congrats Daniela :)

i hope you can win the title aswell now , but you still have to win two matches for that :)

i hope you will play better tomorrow cause whoever wins the match between Penetta and paszek , they are more dangerous then your first two opponents

Really is a sign of the times when were rejoicing Daniela winning 2 matches on the spin, but congrats all the same. She could of folded after struggling in the first set and being broken serving to stay in the 2nd set but she stood firm and is into her first semi final since the Australian Open to face either Flavia Pennetta or Tamira Pazek

I don't expect Daniela to stand any chance against Flavia if she continues serving like that.

well Daniela's serve was a lot better in the first match, so right now I think we have to take it one match at a time. Everything in her game seems to change from day to day, so I don't think we can use today's performance for much. It was a nice win, and again it showed her will to win, even when nothing would go right.

A win's a win and it's only the third time this year that Daniela's won consecutive matches, which shows how much her season's been derailed by illness and injury. It's a bit of a concern that Daniela blew a 4-0 lead to let Chan get to set points in the first set, but she saved them and won the tiebreak, which shows that she played the crucial points well, or at least better than Chan. She also won every breakpoint she had, which is great. But her serve wasn't great and the second serve was a weakness.

"I'm just so excited to be in the semis after what I had to go through with my injury," said Hantuchova, who missed 10 weeks earlier this year with a stress fracture.
"I was very proud how I kept fighting, tried to weather the storm, because she was playing unbelievable. She was going for every shot and at one point there was not much I could have done."
"She was swinging at everything and things can change fast in a match. I just tried to hang in there. A couple of loose points and she was back in the match."
"But I think I was the stronger player in the third, I could tell she was getting tired."

It's good that Daniela's getting fitter and her match fitness is improving, so that's definitely a positive to take from this, as well as Daniela yet again showing her resilience and fighting spirit.

Paszek will be a tough opponent as she's a big hitter and she had match points against Jankovic at the Australian Open and gave Henin a really close match in Dubai last year, so she can raise her level against top players and she had a good win against an in form Pennetta, so Paszek will be dangerous. At the same time, Paszek has a losing record this year and she's not the fittest player on tour. It'll be a difficult match and Daniela will have to improve on today's performance.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

One thing Daniela definately has over Paszek is experience. Paszek is still just 17, which is hard to believe since she has been in the public eye for over a year now. Yes it will be tricky, but Paszek can be erratic (like Daniela) so anything could happen.
I think the winner will play Petrova, who should be able to beat the in-form Schnyder. Although there current head-to-head is very close (6-5 in the favour of Schnyder).
Realistically, any one of the four players could win here, but like I said in tip-league, I'm going for Daniela.

Will be a hard match for Daniela against Paszek.
She is really talented, but this season wasn't really good. Many early exits this year. She is a bit inconsitent - like Daniela :?
