Another great win.
2 wins in a row are great and will surely help in the rankings and in her confidence.
MLDB will probably be stressed for the match.

when she won against Sharapova in Wimbledon, she got trashed in the next round by Knapp because she had pressure of almost being favorite for that match.

against Dani it will depend on how she tackles it.

But I would say that our girl has a great chance of reaching QF :)

Ranking wise, here is the current situation:

67 Lesia Tsurenko UKR 857 +1
68 Katerina Siniakova CZE 824 +7 Birmingham R16
69 Andreea Mitu ROU 820 +2
70 Annika Beck GER 808 -4
71 Johanna Larsson SWE 796 +1
72 Irina Falconi USA 790 +1
73 Vitalia Diatchenko RUS 789 +1 Ilkley R32
74 Teliana Pereira BRA 773 +2
75 Daniela Hantuchova SVK 770 +2 Birmingham R16
76 Tatjana Maria GER 769 +3
77 Yaroslava Shvedova KAZ 766 -7
78 Francesca Schiavone ITA 762
79 Lauren Davis USA 761
80 Ajla Tomljanovic CRO 755 +1
83 Aleksandra Krunic SRB 733 +4 Birmingham R32

Like I said she's got to treat Birmingham like her Wimbledon. Huge points on offer and if she were to replicate her Birmingham 2013 win she'd be back in the top 50 where she belongs but that's a long way off.

Another great win for Daniela. She followed up her win last night with a strong performance against someone that's given her tough matches in the past. Her serve stats are strong: 77% 1st serve in, 72% 1st serve points won and 56% 2nd serve points won plus 4 aces.

This is only the second time since Roland Garros last year that Daniela's had consecutive wins. Finally getting a win has been such a boost to her confidence and her ranking and she has a great chance of doing well here.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

If we again bypass Fed Cup, this is Daniela's first straight sets win since the QF in Thailand.
Dani sure likes to pull on our heartstrings in tiebreakers against Erakovic! I think she had to save two match points in the one at Pattaya.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like since there's 4 grass tourneys this year, Daniela's points from last year's events in Britain are coming off a week earlier this year.

Let's Go, Daniela!

Daniela's the last match on Court 1, play starts at 11am. There are three singles matches and one postponed match to be finished on before Daniela.

The postponed match is 4-3 in the third, so it really shouldn't take long.

Let's Go, Daniela!

She did it!!!!!!!!

6-4 7-5 was up 4-2 in the 2nd but got nervous and MLB played amazing game there according to twitter.

I couldn't watch any of it so PLEASE someone post highlights!!! Was a hotter day today which probably helped her serving arm to be warm. 11 aces is great!!

First Premier QF for Daniela in a VERY long time!!!

Next up Lisicki...really going to be tough...I don't expect Daniela to win that one...a shame she didn't get a wildcard for eastbournet. I doubt she'll play there now as can't see her wanting to play qualifying if she loses to Lisicki tomorrow..

Anyway AMAZING run so far..
we need to hope that Lisicki has an off serving day..I hope Daniela wil keep treating Birmingham as her Wimbledon. ..

Cue up the Yardbirds: Daniela has a Hearrrrt, Hearrrrt Full Of Soul!

You and me both, eddy. Gotta see some or all of the 11 aces! One game she had 3 aces in a row. (So she could have cleaned up both on the court and the poker tables in Vegas!) Daniela's serve has for so long a liability, but now it's like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Amazing. How is that happening all of a sudden? Yeah, grass has it's part in it, but there's got to be other reasons. Better question: How far can Dani take it this week?

Let's Go, Daniela!

Woooh! That's 3rd win in a row...we never expected this guys. When I saw on livescores that she won the 1st set, I had a feeling that she'll win in straight sets. And as you've mentioned, 11 aces! That's a lot.

Next is Sabine who playing well right now I mean every grass season :D let's see if Dani can stay the momentum

GL and do your best!

Do you think she'll play the next tournament as qualifier or will just prepare for Wimby?..

Also was this televised?

If Daniela wins tomorrow against Lisicki she wouldn't be able to play qualies. But I think if she loses tomorrow then I doubt she will play qualies either.

It would mean winning 3 matches just to qualify...that's a lot of tennis without much reward.

Let's just hope that Daniela wins tomorrow so she doesn't have that choice to make!

Another good win by Daniela. Larcher De Brito's had some good wins on grass so was a tricky opponent but apart from a wee wobble in the second set Daniela controlled the match.

She served really well and only faced one BP, although she did get broken, but she won 73% of all her service points, hit 11 aces with no DFs, that is impressive serving. One quibble would be that she was only 3/11 on Bps and if she's taken more than she'd have won a lot more easily but you can't complain about a straight sets win. I'm so happy for Daniela, she stayed strong and positive during her drought and she's getting her reward now. She's amazing.

Lisicki will be tough tomorrow as she's got such a good serve on grass but lets get revenge for 2011.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.
