Daniela skipped Strasbourg last year and she got to the third round at Roland Garros. Strasbourg's also quite slow and heavy so it might not be the best surface for Daniela when she's not in form.

She's changed coaches again going back to Nicolas so he could want to work with her and give her some practice. It also gives her the chance to rest and recover from any aches and pains she might have.

Daniela's going to play with Stosure at Roland Garros.

Above the line deblových competition in the French capital they are also after the closing four Slovaks. Daniela Hantuchova will play alongside Australian girl Samantha Stosur, who played with last week also on clay tournament in Rome.

Rome was amazing thanks!

Unfortunately I didn't see Daniela at all as I arrived for the night session on the Thursday and Daniela had already lost her 2nd round doubles.

Anyhoo, is an amazing tournament and Rome is wonderful for sightseeing :)

I saw Djokovic vs Bellucci and Azarenka vs Begu (who is awful)

Then on Friday I saw Ferrer vs Goffin and Kvitova vs Suarez Navarro

plus lots of doubles :)

When I see the other women matches I seriously don't understand why Daniela isn't in the top 20. Azarenka was good but I saw Pavlycuhenkova in doubles and she was so crap lol. Kvitova was either awesome or terrible and Suarez Navarro only has a backhand...was really weird to see her do so well.

It's nice to hear that you had a good time in Rome, eddy, although it's a shame you didn't get to see Daniela.

Daniela's best is good enough to beat most players but she's got a lot of wear and tear on her body which hampers her and I don't think she's fully recovered from Pattaya and Doha. You never turn down winning a tournament but beating Barthel has ben a Pyrrhic victory given what's happened since.

Doha was one thing. Again, what's Daniela's record since she posed with Bieber?
