Great for Daniela, although she was 5-1 up!

Daniela won 10 of Singapore's 16 points. Daniela's getting into things and she played a lot better than she did in Manila.

Daniela really won 6-4 but she has to go out and play an extra game so she only win 6-5 or does she lose 6-5, I don't know :?: . She's just about to sit down and luxuriate in the glow of her win when she's told she has to go out and play another game. Berdych & Hewitt are standing around wondering what the hell is going on. But Daniela played well and she had a nice chat with Wozniacki at then end. Daniela's enjoying herself and playing good tennis so that's great.

I'm guessing that Agassi must be off as well.

Apparently Daniela's going to be working with Carlos Rodriquez out in the UAE.

Daniela played beautifully for most of the set but her biggest weakest BY FAR was a return of serve...hopefully Carlos can help her with that in UAE. But lots of encouraging play from Daniela especially on set point and all those drop shots!!

That's some thousand yard stare from Berdych.

I'm not going to get too excited-Wozniacki was fairly dire and Daniela's level dropped noticeably as it came to closing the match out,but it was good to see her hittting the FH so well. Thank God for Carlos too,he's really done something with that second serve which had a lot more juice on it.

Crunch match against VIP tomorrow-it will be a lot tougher.

Hey hey, praise the day! I'm not going to do backflips over this (and for me to even attempt that would cause the apocalypse). But it is Daniela's first singles win of any sort since September, and it's a better win than any she had in WTT. Plus, as it is only 30 days until Auckland, your reports and others of her level of play are very encouraging. And as to having a 5-1 lead and flirting with losing it, that's maybe the best news of all, because that's the Daniela we all know and love!

Pretty cool that Daniela will be playing mixed doubles against Federer today!

The result could have been better - 6-0. I blame Kyrgios. Still, it will have been an amazing experience for Daniela to play against Federer who she admires and respects so much.

Daniela lost 6-5 to Ivanovic after a shootout which is disappointing as she was so close yet so far away but it's a big improvement on Manila.

Poor Dani, she got so tight in that TB with a 5-1 lead. Still it is good to see her playing so much better than in Manila.

Fed was ridiculously good today.

I'm more than OK with Daniela's play the last 2 days. And this league has her facing a lot tougher competition than WTT. She might have been a bit starstruck facing Federer, but that had to have been a thrill. Daniela sure enjoys life, and she deserves to.

I have accepted now that every time Daniela plays Ivanovic, Ana will always win...she is the luckiest player in the world...the number of stupid lets Ana got at key stages was ridiculous...and of course in this format you have to play them...

Daniela should be proud of how she played today...she looked really crushed when Ana won the shootout though, especially seeing as Daniela was 5-1 up in that, I hate the happiness power point..is so stupid..

That's why I keep the video of Daniela's epic comeback win over Ivanovic in Birmingham in '11, eddy. Besides, the next day that she is more beautiful than or does more for humanity than Daniela will be the first!

Good, strong performances in both singles and doubles by Daniela. She didn't have a let down after yesterday's disappointment when she played so well but couldn't clinch the win and she was able to maintain her level today to have a good win against Flipkens and a good performance in doubles.

Daniela got 12 of Singapore's 17 points. Even though Singapore were beaten I'm happy because Daniela won both her matches and she gave the scoreline some respectability. She won her matches 12-5, the other matches were 18-5 to Manila.

Daniela can put her feet up for a couple of days before the UAE leg and then the training with Carlos Rodriquez.
