Time for Serena to come in and help the slammers out.

There's getting thrashed by Ivanovic who's 5th in the rankings and there's getting thrashed by Mladenovic who's below Daniela in the rankings. I'm not really that bothered about this but it is concerning that Daniela's been thrashed both times she's played. Ultimately, it's about how well Daniela's able to play next year. Hopefully, she enjoys this and she's able to try different things out on court and she's still able to prepare as well as she can for 2015.

At least she won the mixed doubles with Kyrgios.

Can we call the 6-5 mixed doubles win a Thrilla in Manila by Daniela :?: :!:

A few thoughts on this coocoo league:
Random double points? Is this tennis or Scrabble!?
Daniela and Serena being teammates just somehow doesn't seem right.
A report said that Sharapova is very bothered by a very noisy shot clock, which this league is using experimentally to speed up play. We know that Dani likes to take her time serving. That might be part of the reason for the dreadful singles results so far. Of course, we don't know if it bothers her because only if it bothers Maria or the Williams sisters would it make news.

And Singapore goes 0-3. Serena was really poor in the mixed doubles, made up for it in the singles but too late for it to matter.

Mladenovic is playing well here, she beat Ivanovic 6-4 today and only lost 5-6 to Sharapova so that puts Daniela's result against her into a bit of perspective.

Singapore lost again. I think their guns are pointing out to sea while the other teams are attacking them from the jungle behind them. Daniela didn't play so she could just sit back, chill and have a laugh on the bench.

I guess in part by playing in this league, Daniela hasn't had the chance to put together a 2015 calendar. Too bad. Would be nice to add to my collection and give to the Cambodian hospital.

Where can you find the match schedule ie; who plays when?
Middle of the night matches in Midwest USA so have looked for the match schedule but no luck finding it.

Serena doesn't have her "stuff", must be on a down cycle.

I don't see why Daniela doesn't play mixed doubles although earning megabucks for a courtside seat is basically money for old rope for Daniela. Nice money if you can get it and she's having a good laugh and enjoying herself.

Singapore are playing India at 7:30pm tomorrow, Sail8. Even if it's not on TV, then one of the streaming sites should have it.

Lukas Kimlicka, the photographer who shot Daniela's previous calendars, posted some new pictures of Daniela on his social media a couple of months back so there's a decent chance any calendar has been already shot, Alex.

Thanks Chungwit. Do they post anywhere who will be playing in the matches prior to the start.

Much obliged, Chungwit.

I guess we don't have to worry about how Daniela will do in a playoff match!

It's ridiculous that Daniela did not play mixed today-is she supposed to be some sort of cheerleader?? This IPTL is eating right into her offseason where she needs to be training hard.

Despite the Singapore Slammers going 0-4 so far they do seem to be the team having the most fun...but they seriously need a win soon!

I couldn't find anything about the matchups, Sail8, I suspect the card is subject to change anyway.

I think that Daniela will probably play more in the Indian & UAE legs when Serena isn't playing. Daniela's enjoying herself and I'm sure that the facilities will be excellent and enable her to train well. She could learn some tips from the other players there that could help her out and the season doesn't start until 5 January so she has more time to prepare than in the previous seasons when it started in December.
