Wow, top players pulling out, its so sad when they cant compete because of injuries..hope Daniela can take advantage of the opportunities though. |

wow, I thought serena had this tournament in the bag, considering how she got rid of patty who played good before. Why did she retired? Williams pulled out with a knee problem. She had to have her left knee heavily taped during the match. Hopefully it won't affect the rest of her hard-court season, but I wouldn't be surprised if she pulls out of the East West Bank Classic, particularly since the Olympics is only weeks away. my sister (who is a big Serena fan) says Serena won't play before the Olympics now. |

amazing, Wozniak finally did it! 7-5 6-3 Congratulations to her first WTA title, which is truly deserved (remember: she battled through qualies! ) ok, Bartoli wasn't at her best today, but Wozniak played good tennis! |
