She'll be seeded fourth as she will pass Bartoli as of the next rankings. That means a bye and truthfully none of the players 5-8 scare me at all (that is, that I would not favor them over Daniela). Hopefully, the next 2 1/2 weeks will serve her health well.

This will be interesting as she will have had enough practice but still not enough match play IMO. Hope she moves better than she did at Wimbledon. Looking forward to seeing her above all.

I'm already looking forward to this tournament. Let's hope for a good draw. Some "easy" matches would be great to gain some match experience, but I'm afraid there won't be any easy players for Daniela in the current situation.

From 1-14 on that list are all tricky players and would be tough match ups for Daniela, hopefully with a bye in the first round should give her a little more time to get used to the courts and the speed and the balls and all that she needs to get used to. I think another performance similar to Wimbledon, at least 1 win would be nice and hopefully build from there

Yea totally agree Scott. Just baby steps. Another win would be really good. The main thing is she's back and playing. She will get her form back in no time. Looking forward to hopefully seeing her paly again :)

I'd agree with what Scott says about this tournament. I think if Daniela was healthy and match fit, she'd have a very good chance of doing well here, but as Martin has said, it will take a few tournaments for Daniela to get her level back, so we can't expect too much.
Hopefully Daniela can be a lot fitter and healthier for this tournament and can put in a good performance.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Great, that would put Daniela down to 5th on the seedings, missing out on a bye :x

if she was seeded 4th the draw would have been easier... and about Dani... well I don't know how she's playing and what she can do at the moment so I'll be patient and just wait!

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Williams withdrew at this point. Here's hoping because that would get her back in the top four.

Williams has no reason to withdraw so I would be fairly surpirsed if she did, particularly because both Venus and her are trying to play full calendars this year.
