Being British too, today was incredible. Andy Murray a legend. One dream has come true, now one more needs to come true which is for Daniela to win a Grand Slam!!

I'm wondering how much Wimbledon makes from letting people in to sit on the hill and watch the big screen.

So Bartoli was 14-12 this year and hadn't won in a year and a half. Hope springs eternal! Now, since Mr. Completelymadeupname liked this on FB, I'll redo it here. It's the basic midpoint of the season, and looking back on the first half (I shall leave the negative viewpoint of it to the Cocktail Party fools), Daniela has done more than we had a right to expect on New Year's Day. There's the 6 wins in 6 days for title #6 and the first one on grass, rife with stomach-churning drama, career win #500, wins over Errani and Petra, a 28 spots rise in the rankings from the lowest point, Fed Cup heroics and Heart Award #2. When Dani had to leave the tour with her foot problems in '08, it took 3 years for her to win a tourney. This time, almost exactly one year, and she has a title in each of the last 3 years. Not bad at all! Hopefully the 2nd half will be even better and feature a long run in New York!
