very good serves from Kleybanova in the last game. Nothing Daniela could do :(

Daniela played just OK on balance. She had 10 winners and 19 unforced errors. But the big story here is that Kleybanova played way, way above her head for about 90% of the match. she would beat an awful lot of players with this kind of match. The power of her serves and the groundstrokes really left Daniela playing very defensive, thus the low winner count.

From the part that I watched, Daniela had the chances but couldn't take them. Besides she made too many UEs, which is not new. All of that give Kleybanova so much confidence. But coming off from long time injury, that is somewhat expected. She obviously need to work more on her game. Good luck for the next tour.

yeah it was kleybanova who was in control or winners or errors, only in the second set daniela could make some winners , but kleybanova hits very hard down the line, like Daniela normally does

Now its over. Too bad that Daniela couldn't play in the third like in the second set. Too many UEs.

But all in all, I think she is on a good way. She showed us that she is a fighter and never gives up. I think she improved a lot during the match. A win would have been great, but Klejbanova was too good in the third set.

I'm already looking forward to see Daniela playing in Stanford.

The annoying thing about that match is that Daniela was the one with the momentum winning the 2nd set really well and then all of a sudden it was like she forgot how she won the 2nd set, she went back to the same tactics as in the 1st set and up to 4-1 in the 2nd and the same thing happened. Fair play to Kleybanova she played well, she hit alot of winners and she served well in the 2nd set, but I will refuse to believe that Daniela would of lost that match if she had had more matches under her belt.

I was deeply dissapointed and frustrated with the way Daniela played in that last set but at the end of the day I came into this tournament first of all not thinking Daniela would play, then secondly having no hopes.

My one hope is that Daniela continues to build her fitness, steer clear of reinjuring her heal and comes back strong and raring to go come the american hard court series

19 Unforced errors in 3 sets isn't that much , ive seen much worse from her, only thing is her winners were low today to compensate the 19 UE

I'm a bit disappointed, but I always am. Over all, it was a good comeback tournament IMO. She fought well, but Kleybanova was playing very well, and often attacked Daniela's serve/shots so that Daniela couldn't attack. Kleybanova was good at turning defense to attack unfortunately and Daniela wasn't. Also lack of match practice was a factor I believe.

Oh well, a couple of weeks of rest and then the US hard court series.

Seeded players are falling quickly this year at Wimbledon... even Ivanovic was blessed yesterday, and Sharapova is out. It's a pity to see Daniela already out, but from what I read it was very much because of her opponent.

That happens, sometimes. The important thing is that she can move quite well and she's on the way to 100% recovery

Yea, take nothing away from Kleybanova she played very well today, the only dissapointment is that Daniela wasnt able to carry her form from the 2nd set into the 3rd
