Daniela had to withdraw due to a stress reaction in her foot.

I'm really not sure how Daniela's going to do here considering her health issues and her struggles in recent tournaments. Daniela's always beaten Dominika including at Brisbane to start the year but Dominika's playing well at the moment and she's fit so this is going to be difficult. I really think that any opponent here would be tough for Daniela at the moment and that it would probably be better for Daniela to rest rather than aggravate any injury. I can only guess that playing here won't make any injury worse but it's still a risk.

I'm very surprised that Daniela's playing doubles at all and even more so that it's with Gajdosova, especially as Agnieszka's there and she's not playing doubles. I really don't know why Daniela's playing doubles at all given her physical condition.

My wish for Daniela on her birthday is that she receives as much or more than she gives to the less fortunate, and to all of us fans (and no, I don't mean upset stomachs or psycho ward visits

Pennetta & Mirza have withdrawn due to a wrist injury to Pennetta and Benesova & Zahlavova Strycova have taken their seeding in the draw as the next highest ranked team. It's still going to be a tough match.

I guess in this match Daniela can test her ankle and her fitness. With big tournaments coming up and a lot of points to defend, it's so important that Daniela's fit and able to play her best.

wow there is a stream for court 1, too.

3-6 2-3 at the moment, Gajdosova with many errors... daniela's ankle is taped, but didn't see a problem with it

I do not see any information on that but I see she is off the order of play for today having been replaced in her match against Cibulkova

That totally sucks. She played quite well in the doubles yesterday. Praying that its precautionary so she's good to go for Madrid Rome Brussels and RG...Stuttgart is one of my favourite tournaments so im gutted about this.I hope she keeps us informed of her injury...
