Dani's form is such that she should have a good shot at beating gorgeous Georges. Fingers crossed!
I don't want to run too far with this yet. But do you agree that so far in '12, we have seen quite a bit of unDanielian stuff happen? Serena and Kim at Brisbane, a final in the 1st tourney of the season, all these 3 set Houdini acts, a successful title defense, a 3 set win in a final, now Vika withdrawing? After all these years of so little going right, is the moon in the 7th house and Jupiter aligned with Mars? Can it last :?: Here's hoping. ;)

1st set
1-0. Goerges broken with the 3rd BP
1-1. Daniela saves a BP but got broken to 30
1-2. Goerges holds to 0... plays better now
1-3. Daniela saves 1 BP but broken to 15....Goerges very aggressive and some unforced errors from daniela
2-3. Goerges broken to 15
3-3. Daniela holds to 15. Goerges with more errors
3-4. Goerges holds to 0. Good serves
4-4. Daniela holds to 30 with 2nd GP. her movement is not the best...
5-4. 0-30, 30-30, 30-40 and break for daniela!!
6-4. Daniela holds to 30. df#1. puhhh 1st set :mrgreen: i had to go off now :(

Goerges is playing amazing, Daniela needs to hang tough 3-4..which is what she does! 6-4 Daniela :)

She's playing string and steady...good stuff so far...0-2..comon daniela break back..0-3 Daniela can turn this set around I know it..

Goerges hitting winners all over the place...0-4 oh dear...Julia's toilet break really helped Goerges...:(

Everything Goerges hits is turning to gold..somehow Daniela get's one break back 6-4 1-4...I still believe she can get this set..2-4 this game is crucial...comon daniela...i didnt realise Goerges was as good as this...2-5...3-5...comon now's the time to break..so close but Daniela had two non-consecutive break points but didn't take them

6-4 3-6

Daniela serving first in the final set...great match

Daniela will need a good start here, Goerges is streaky so Daniela must not give Julia confidence..

I think overall so far Julia has been the better player...yep Daniela get's broken 0-1

This match is so important for Daniela, if she wins she's well in the top 20, if not she stays 21..AHHH...NOTHING'S GOING RIGHT.. :( :( :(

She hasn't done it for a while, so why now???

And it's always the way if an opponent goes for toilet it helps them but if Daniela does it it screws her over :( This match is so important...
