Very happy to see the result from the Dulko match. Havent been able to keep up last couple of days moving back to uni but its certainly a positive result. Didnt think that Daniela would win as convincingly as she did so it gives me some confidence about the 2nd round match against Tanasugarn. I would of been happy with either her or Srebotnik cause of Tanasugarns ranking and Daniela's record against Srebotnik. Hopefully she can have another positive result and go into the match against, most likely Jankovic without anything to lose

I just watched another Dani's studio interview from Beijing.
There were fans in the studio and she answered to their questions.
For once more, she admitted that (physically speaking) she is not 100% ready.
I certainly hope that tomorrow she will have enough strength to beat Tamarine.

Tanasugarn had a great grass season winning Rosmalen and getting to the Wimbledon quarter-final and beat Safina, Zvonereva and Jankovic, but apart from those tournaments she really hasn't done that much at the top level this year or recent years. She's got a losing record since Wimbledon and lost to some fairly modest players. Most of the time when she's played a top player, she's been beaten easily enough. Tanasugarn's grass season this year is fairly aberrational to her normal form. She had a good win against Srebotnik but Srebotnik was probably tired from playing all those matches in Tokyo. It's still a good win though.

You've got to respect Tanasugarn as she's had some big wins this year and Daniela hasn't been firing on all cylinders since she came back from injury. Tanasugarn could be inspired a la Wimbledon or take advantage of bad play from Daniela. I feel that as long as Daniela plays well, she should win and I think the outcome will depend on Daniela's level.

Yeah I think you are totally right chungwit. It will depend on how Daniela plays. A win in straight sets should be possible, but also a defeat. I'm not sure about such things anymore since this year. :?

Daniela has gone 4-4 versus players roughly in Tanasugarn's tier since returning (1-1 vs. Ai and Olga, wins over Errani and Dulko and losses to Kleybanova and Groenefeld). So, this becomes a tough match to call. I do lean toward Daniela because she has the superior long-term track record and her top gear is way ahead of Tamrine's. But the bettors are more confident, as they list Daniela as a 5 to 2 favorite.

somebody on tennisforum suggests that all 2nd round singles matches will be moved to tomorrow, and instead all ATP and doubles matches will be played today.
Medina Garrrigues is playing doubles right now but was scheduled to play singles before doubles today. And they rarely play doubles before singles, so I think that theory could be right.

A revised OOP is on the WTA website and Daniela's match is still on there, so im assuming that her match is still on but if light rain is expected for most of the day then might not be able to get on

well they haven't been following that OOP either at all. Eg. The Szavay vs Garrigues match has not been played (second on court 1) but Garrigues/Wozniacki vs Cibulkova/Chakvetadze has been played (4th on court 2)

a chinese guy has explained the OOP on tennisforum:

all WTA singles matches on the "small" courts have been canceled. If the rain stays away, centre court will continue with the original OOP, which means Danka will be on in few minutes :D

Podme Danka and good luck

unfortunately not. I could during the olympics, but something has changed. During the Olympics I could right click on the webpage/stream and find a asf link to put in my ripper, but now I can't right click.
On facebook I can rip videos by looking in my cache but not here. I've tried googling to find some other programs but I haven't felt like downloading them. I don't trust them.
