I know Daniela was in much better form in Australia, but she's got experience of coming back against Kirilenko and 3 of Daniela's wins have been in 3 sets, so Daniela's got experience of being in this situation and winning against Kirilenko to draw upon.

Also a hard service game for Kirilenko, but she made it. 2:0 now for Kirilenko

after losing 5 games in a row, she finally got one to her name again. I'm hoping for a comeback but I doubt it. I think it is too late.

There was an injury timeout in the first set, said someone in the WTAworld. But he/she is not sure for whom.

From what I have seen on SB, Daniela seems to fight hard but there may be a lot of UEs as usual. But as long as she can hang in there, we can hope for something positive happens. Hopefully her mental is not down yet, as she is one break back in the second set already and Maria seems to hold serve rather easy (only 2 bps for Daniela until now).

Daniela held to 15, breaks the run of game for Kirilenko and keeps the deficit to a break. I think Daniela'll get opportunities, it's whether she can take them and also what Kirilenko does with any chances she gets.

She made the re-break. Maybe the turn-around.

I think Daniela, based on the fact that she lost 8 points in a row afterwards.

It's looking a bit better now, *2-2, back on serve. I think Daniela can win this match, or at least take it to a third set. If it goes to a third I would favour Daniela.

I'm not sure about that. Injury timouts of other players often affect Daniela more then her own.

After being up 40-30, Daniela has dropped serve again, now a 3-2 lead to Kirilenko.

You are too early, she got broken again. She must have made many UEs at the moment. It is always difficult to get back now.

That was a good chance to get in front (2-3)...
Anyway, its not over yet. But she has to break now.

Daniela has to hold here to have a realistic chance of winning.
