Okay, I hope Daniela will win the other 2 set.

Anyone know how she plays in today match?

So many chances in that first set. :(
It's a shame she had to drop serve to lose that set as well. Now she's playing catch up in the service games again in the second set.

I personally feel Razzano is a bad match up for Daniela. She gets quite a lot of balls back.

expected. Razzano is a better player than Morita IMO. So the slow start was okay against Morita, but Razzano took advantage of it.

And what I've seen of Morita (albeit mostly her junior career) she gives up after losing a set, which could explain why the stats were so good in the 2nd set for Daniela. So Daniela winning that many points in the 2nd set against Morita might not necessarily be caused by good play.

Hopefully, Danka will raise her level in the 2nd (and 3rd) set and fight as she is capable of. We have seen so many comebacks over the years, right now would be a good time for one as well.

probably not. It isn't televised anywhere, so only people who are there can say something about it.

Could it be???? A service game to love. :D

I'm not holding my breath though, but nice start to the second. Now keep it up!

After watching Razzano yesterday, I knew something like this will happen if Daniela keeps making UEs. Hopefully she wakes up on time and not giving up.

Daniela just took 10 points in a row. Me likes.

what a fought game .. it was a pity that Dani didn't break Razzano serve .. If she had , that would be a major pump in Dani's confidence ..
Come on Danka , u can win this .

Well Daniela's 4-1 up now, so hopefully Razzano will crumble.

double break, YAY!!! i was scared there for a moment. i thought it'd be another lost opportunity

aside from that love service game, most of these games have been tight with neither player able to string 3 or more points together.

4-1 UP IN THE 2nd SET .
Hold serve now Daniela :D

Daniela only gets around 40 percent of her first serves in. Not good enough. Luckily in this set she is winning more points on the 2nd serve, but I would love to see more easy points from the serve. Like aces.

5-1.

A break now would be more than great, because it would mean Daniela is to serve first in the third, and it is always nice not being the one playing catch-up.

She needs to break here to server first in the decider. Winning a lot of points on second serve, but first serve seems to have gone away this set. Still up 5-1 and not serving that well.
