lol this is a coincidence  I forgot about this tournament... I was just looking at Daniela's photos at FB, answering to somebody on her photo where somebody wanted to know, who's in the picture with Daniela. It was Pironkova I came here to check it, cos I rememberd the picture... and what did I see? Daniela is playing right now with Pironkova hahaGreat play Dani. keep it up only 2 games, come on! |

Eurosport  Cut away from Daniela playing some lovely clay-court tennis to show 37 minutes of a one-sided beatdown.  Daniela's playing well,so she should make it through to play Schiavone-and that match will definitely be shown live!

Great win great result! Watched it, she played very classy. 6-4 6-2 could have been even a better scoreline. A win is a win! If daniela can either beat kanepi oprandi, then defeats schiavone, she will be no 29. if kirilenko loses. Going up. One match at a tume though! Anyway enjoy the win.

A good win and performance by Daniela. It would have been great if she'd been able to serve out the first set first time but she took the first set and she upped her game in the second and won that pretty easily. Daniela played well, got some points and she boosted her chance of getting seeded at Roland Garros. |

Good win but nothing to write home about...next round will be tougher for sure, if she gets to 3rd round that'll be a good result, and anything more than that will be a big bonus, but it's about time we saw Daniela reaching the latter stages of these bigger tournaments...in fact the last time Daniela reached a Quarter-Final of a Premier tournament was Cincinatti 2009! GULP! |
