We really can't expect too much in Cincinatti. She's got a 5 hours flight today at least as Kleybanova on her twitter page just said her flight(s) took 12 hours as all the flights were booked up!!!

We have to hope that Daniela has a really good day and Pavylynchenkova doesn't. I think if she gets past her 1st round I think she can go a long way.

I hope Daniela can simply use Cincy as a good training ground if anything else...if she gets through some rounds then that's an added bonus. I hope she doesn't put too much pressure on herself, as she should be extremely proud of this week. She should use her 1st rounder as a practice match.

Daniela knows that Pavy is not a good match-up for her, but hopefully her match wins against Bartoli and Kleybanova will give her confidence.

I really think Daniela looks the fittest she's looked since Australian Open 2008, which I think bodes well. She's extremely toned everywhere, this time last year I remember her looking a bit frail so thank you Pat Etchberry.

Any news on Darren Cahill? I haven't seen him with Daniela at all recently...

agree to this. she looks really good. i remember the beginning of year where she looked skinny but now she looks really fine. it definitely helps her on her shoots and give it more strenght, just like AO 2008.

So Daniela can make a holiday trip at least :D

Good luck against Pavlyuchenkova!

But if she loses, nevermind. After last week she can do with some rest :)

We'll just see what happens against Pavlyuchenkova.

Pavlyuchenkova has been kryptonite for Daniela this year, but the only other top players she's beaten this year were Kleybanova in Brisbane and Schiavone in Miami.

Since she played Pavlyuchenkova in Madrid, Daniela's beaten Wickmayer, Bartoli and Kleybanova who are all comparable in style and ability to Pavyluchenkova and Pavlyuchenkova hasn't beaten a top player since Madrid. She did win Istanbul so she'll be confident, although the highest ranked player she beat there was Vesnina at 60.

The conditions seem like they'll be brutal and if it comes down to stamina and conditioning then I'd favour Daniela under normal circumstances but Pavlyuchenkova will be rested as she's had the week off and she'll have been in Cincinnati preparing while Daniela had her run in San Diego and will have had to travel between San Diego and Cincinnati so she won't have had too much of a chance to rest or acclimatise.

It'll be a tough match and Daniela's up against someone who's been a difficult opponent for her this year plus there's always the possibility of a let down after San Diego, but Daniela will be confident after San Diego and, as I said before, she ended a losing run against a Russian nemesis here last year.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Daniela's not playing doubles anymore...I guess she realised it was too much to ask, after the flight...

I just take this match as a practice match especially since she doesn't have a great record against Anastasia. All I hope is she will play aggressively and even if she lost, I would like to hear that was bc her opponent played so well. I will be very disappointed if she looses the way she lost last time (UEs and DFs at break point and set points). I might not be able to follow the match live so good luck Daniela. Fighting fighting and fighting!!!

Daniela on San Diego and Cincinnati:

The scale of two hundred points will be added that will make the 24th toy world. "Before the tournament I am looking to draw on the progress to the semifinals or dream. I am very satisfied that I fought for each state of each ball, which gives me much confidence in other tournaments," said Hantuchova. For our tennis is the third best result this year. Prebojovala the furthest in Mexico, where it ended up in the final. Hantuchova is now a priority for the performance last season Grand Slam U.S. Open this week, but it is waiting for the tournament in Cincinnati.

The súperkou in the first round will be Russia's Anastasia Pavľučenková. "In Cincinnati, it will be very difficult. I do not know how to move there at all. There are other conditions, there is much more heat and three hours time difference. I hope that together and I will try to enchant the best outcome," added Hantuchova, who advocates the participation of Cincinnati in the quarterfinals of last year.

@ google translation.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.
