This is a good draw. Daniela's avoided any really tricky players in the early rounds and there isn't really anyone in her half that's particularly dangerous. Safarova did get to the final of Paris this month so she's probably in the best form of anyone else in Daniela's half of the draw. As long as Daniela plays well she should go on a good run here. At the same time, you have to respect the opponent as they could be inspired or Daniela could have an off-day but you've got to feel good about Daniela's chances here. |

Daniela was featured in sportscenter last night, she talked about liking the tourny, about wanting to win, nothing new. They showed a bit of her practicing. She looked gorgeous, though. Good luck daniela! ps: Espn latin america will transmit Monterrey, so there's a nice chance of catching Danka. |
