Wouldn't it be wonderful if every match could be like this.

Daniela played very well, she served well, she dictated play and constructed the points well and her groundstrokes were hard and accurate.

Malek was pretty bad though and she made a lot of errors, especially missing that volley on match point. If Daniela didn't hit a winner then Malek would make an error.

It's a nice win by Daniela and it has to give her confidence and momentum for the rest of the tournament.

I just had a look.

I think it has to be in Doha 2007 against Castano when Daniela only lost 1 game in match.

She also beat Pavlyuchenkova at Wimby in '07 and only lost one game.

Danka 1-4 down... who was coaching her just now?

Well, daniela was 2-5, and then won the next 5 games! Almost blew it at the end with some craptastic 2nd serves.

Danka wins the first set 7-5 :)

huu, hard and close first set, which Danka won 7-5.

Hradecka has a huge serve and extremely fast groundstrokes, and she placed the ball close to the lines, giving Danka hardly any chance to get a break, until serving for the set at 5-4.
Then Hradecka made some easy errors and gave Daniela a chance to come back into the set and close it out by winning the last 3 games in a row :)

Danka 1-4 down... who was coaching her just now?
Oh, didn't see it.
