Daniela lost 46 46. Bad loss especially on hard court...sucks, she's just not in good form.. She wont be seeded for the US Open..

For the past months since coming back from injury its sad to see that Daniela has become such a journey-woman. I can't help being a fan but we generally never get any insight to how Daniela feels training is, what she's been working on etc. If I was on tour I'd contact my fans at least every other day...does anyone else feel this frustration? I feel very disconnected from her, whereas Sharapova fans and ivanovic fans really know what's happening on a weekly sometimes daily basis. Its a shame I simply cannot care less about them!

This sucks. Giving Errani a 4-0 lead in the first set made the match very difficult for Daniela For the most part, Daniela's service stats seem fairly decent but she couldn't make inroads into Errani's serve, especially in the second set. Her ranking will take a hit and she'll miss out on a seeding at the US Open unless there are a lot of withdrawals. Daniela hardly has any points to defend for the rest of the year and she doesn't have anything to defend at New haven or the US Open so any run she goes on will give her points and boost her rankings. Scarily, the last time Daniela gained points was the Australian Open and she hasn't defended points since Miami. It's about time that she went on a run and gained some points.

Daniela did have a very long match yesterday against Zheng and she also played doubles while Errani had a bye.

I'm a little surprised Errani's able to do so well without Dr Garcia Del Moral around to help her.

Dominika retireed from her match and she's had to withdraw from the doubles so that it's for Daniela here.
