Hope she wont get Peer in her draw again :/

in a way I hope she does draw Peer again, one for revenge and two there are a lot tougher players in that draw than Peer!

Hopefully Daniela can get a reasonable draw because she could do with some wins for points and confidence.

Daniela's beaten pretty much everyone else there but many of the players are in good form right now and Daniela would be the underdog against a lot of the other players.
In a lot of her recent matches Daniela's played well for a set but she hasn't maintained her level throughout the match or she's been unable to adjust when the opponent's raised her level. One thing that she could do with is a battling win as that would give her a lot of confidence and the knowledge that she can come through when the match is tight. I'd take any sort of win though. Zahlavova Strycova apart, Daniela hasn't lost to a bad player recently, but Wickmayer apart, she hasn't beaten a good one either and a lot of the time, it's because Daniela's not maintained her level of play.

Hopefully, Daniela feels fit and confident and that this is where she gets her season back on track.

This is a pretty decent draw, Daniela PLEASE PLEASE take advantage!

I think if Daniela can get past Bartoli then she can go on a decent run here.

Daniela's got a good record against Bartoli although it's almost three years since the last match.
Apart from her run in Miami, I wouldn't really say that Bartoli's results this year have been anything special and she's only had 5 top 50 wins this year. Bartoli's a good player who hits with a lot of power but she doesn't move that well, so it's important that Daniela gets the first strike in during the rallies and dictates. The really important thing is that Daniela plays well for more than a set and is able to adjust to any fightbacks or adjustments that Bartoli makes. Bartoli's at the same sort of level of the players that have been beating Daniela recently while Bartoli's generally struggled against the good players this year. How Daniela does will be a good indication of her form and the level of her game.

There are two things Daniela must do in order to win this match-she must get her slice serve out wide to Marion's FH working,because she absolutely destroyed Marion with this in Luxembourg. Also she must play first-strike tennis,and not give Marion the chance to move her about the court.
