i must admit that i never saw her playing
unfortunately she's not very often on TV, but i hope i will be able to watch her soon.

Well I think she deserves a thread, doesn't she? I saw her playing for the first time during Fed Cup last year... I like the way she plays and her style of tennis, it looks more "european" if you understand what I mean. Great fighter and very solid player. It amazes me to discover that she took up tennis pretty later. She seems to have a beautiful personality but I couldn't read a lot about her, because I don't understand Slovakian.. Info: She will play in Berlin next week! Buona fortuna! |

yes I really like her too. Also I have a soft spot for short players since I am short myself. I'm glad she will be playing in Berlin. I'll take some pictures. |

Ahahahah I remember reading that comment too and laughing a lot!! (Don't worry about it, cute little Domi ^^) @ christina, I admire short players a lot!!! I am 185, practice 4 to 6 days a week and despite this my serve is always troubling me!!! I can't imagine how bad it would be if I were short like Dominika (or Henin!) These players deserve total respect! "Tall players are good servers" - everytime I hear this, I can't help thinking "Oh boy, I really suck"  I read about Dominika being engaged this morning.. "he needs to improve his ranking" - aha she's already pushing him!! |

I didn't know about Dominika and Gael. Good that they are playing mixed doubles together at Roland Garros. I went to see Gael play at Roland Garros last year and he seems to be one of the most supported French players out there. Hopefully they can make a good run together. Will Daniela be playing doubles/mixed-doubles at RG? |

I think Dominika saved three match points in the final set tie-break though before eventually losing it so she put up a good fight. Shame because she could have made another run at a high-profile tournament after her good runs at Doha and Amelia Island. |
