For some reason they are not in alphabetically (and thus not cronologically) order.

Too bad Dominika lost her opening match. :(

It's not too shocking that Dominika lost as she played Barcelona on clay and had to retire there and didn't have a warm-up on grass. Plus she lost in qualifying in last year's grass tournaments, so grass isn't a good surface for her.

It still would have been nice if she'd won.

A tough opening match to begin her American hardcourt season; will play number 7 seed Nadia Petrova in the first round of the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford.
If she wins, K.Bondarenko or Harkleroad will be in round two.

D.Cibulkova d. N.Petrova[7] 6-4 3-6 6-3

A great win for Dominika, beating Petrova in their very first meeting. Next up is Kateryna Bondarenko who beat Ashley Harkleroad 7-5 6-2.

if anybody is interested in watching the second and third set, I recorded it from live stream. The quality is not good, but maybe someone wasn't able to watch.

Congrats Domi, brilliant win, hard fought by the looks of things but still great win. Good luck in the 2nd round, maybe a meeting with Daniela in the Quarters? Better not think too far ahead lol

A very good win by Dominika, and an all Slovakian quarter-final would be nice.

Wimbledon looks a lot better for Dominika given how well Zheng did there.

Honestly I didn't expect a win by Dominika against Petrova. But after the doubles I think Petrova wasn't at her best at Stanford.

Cibulkova will play Sugiyama on Friday. I think this will be a tight three-set match, with alot at stake because both players will feel they have a chance of getting to the final.

That will be an interesting match against Sugiyama. But I think Dominika has good chances to beat her and then everything is possible for her.

I think Cibulkova will go into this match up as the favourite, its a shame it wont be against Daniela but this is a good chance for Domi to go deep in the tournament
